The commission process starts with reference photos. I will have you send around 3-5 photos you love that I can choose from and refer to as I sketch.
Here are tips for getting reference photos:
Lots of indirect light
An eye-level angle
Around a foot or two away
Rule of thumb: the head should be at least a quarter to a third of the photo
We’ll discuss scheduling and stylistic elements, and I will process a downpayment of 30% then I will begin. Then I’ll send a progress photo when I’m nearly done for your approval. And then upon finalization, we can process the rest of the payment, and I'll ship it out.
